I must say i'm impressed, that the first build that really looks amazing, perfect bends, an innovative and nice way to run the tubing and AT LAST i see you've made a proper fill port at the top and a drain port at the lowest point possible in the loop. Very nice build, beautiful, nice job man :)

Big fan of the tubing routes in that white and blue phanteks build used as a reference. Today I just saw my favorite case just got a white variant and I'll be buying it from Newegg within the week. One condition of buying it is that switching from soft tubing to hard is a must. I come home from work to find this video in my subscriptions. It's a sign my time has come...

Thanks for the video. I can tell your a person who pays attention to the details like me. I have found that using the ratchet cutters can create micro fractures at the very tip of the tubing. That's why I used both tools like you suggested. Start off marking your spot with the rotary cutter, and then finish the cut with the ratchet cutters. No sanding or beveling needed. I wish someone would post a good video on best measurement practices with hard tubing. I have no clue how to measure and implement but i will soon learn the hard way.

Thanks for an excellent tutorial! Been watercooling since 2004 but doing my very first hard tubing with PETG today, feel a lot more confident after your tutorial so I'm off to the workshop for a new build that looks year 2020 and not alternate timeline steampunk 1860 X-D Feels like cheating when all the parts are actually designed for pc water cooling instead of using a Ford heater cell for a radiator, custom fitting universal blocks and painstakingly combining plumbing and aquarium supplies to get it done X-D

It's probably already been commented, but it isn't really safe to use the circular pipe cutters on acrylic. Even if you go very slow, it will eventually shatter making a very jagged and essentially unusable cut. Maybe this can work if you heat it up so it becomes softer but I think a dremel, table saw, or hack saw if you had something to secure the tube would be easier.
