I am really enjoying TWW so far, I think it's fairly decent. But I do miss getting gear from dungeons, then progressing to raids, and that was that. No upgrading, just gear. Beyond that, badge gear was ok. This entire system just seems.... exhausting at times. Thank you for taking the time to explain all of this, it's very helpful for returning players, and new players alike.

The crests tip was good, I got to 576 with mostly 571 gear and halfway upgrading the renown chest, shoulders, and helm

At 270 crests (cap), and 15 crests per upgrade, you can only upgrade 4 pieces of gear. That's why you either upgrade an important piece (like a weapon), or you wait until you start getting drops and use crests to upgrade your last bit. If it doesn't make sense, you aren't trying very hard.

Crests are not the problem for upgrading to 593, Valorstones are. Dungeons give way too few stones and the one time quests and wqs also give just a handful.

bran also deals significantly more damage when he’s a lower level because of the buffer for lower leveled characters in dungeons, delve, etc so having him lower is actually better until they patch it

Eye of N’Zoth from Battle for Azeroth. It’s a ‘thing’ that got applied to your character during the story. You can leave it or click it off if I remember right. Also, there was a toy to replicate it later if you wanted it back

crafting orders are more or less fine at least in theory, the limited cap of 5 for players is one issue and then the dumb gold sink of the patron ones the other, if they fixed those two issues they would be perfect

While it is true you only need to spend crests once to upgrade to certain ilvl, you can save all the crests by equiping a hero/myth item and get the upgrades free that way without ever spending any whethered crests.

Focus on having fun and not burning out! If you thing professions is fun do them, delves? do them, I enjoy questing so Ive dragged it out as long as possible by questing on multiple characters in different zones.

I wouldnt fully cap out the Valorstones since you are going to be doing content before you get new gear to upgrate and just waste those valorstones that you would get there. I stop at 1.5k to let a bit of room for the delves ill do until T8 and m0/+.

Everything he mentions I have done practically I have 8 Lvl. 80s so far all 560 item level and up my main is 590 Ret pally I’ve done lore master have 5 mounts so far all* professions I have 4 maxed out so far fishing at 300skill level and all renown’s 12 and up hallowfall at 16 atm and my and my wife did a 8 bountiful delv without dying once. I tried a 9 bountiful delve we almost did it but way too hard that’s what I failed at.

"the valorstones will carry over into the season" *I would not count on that,* that hasn't been the case for the last several seasons of DF which all reset them to 0 at the start. The valorstones consumables in the backpack were more like a 50/50 on whether they were still usable or reverted to grey vendorables. I will save the keys and maybe the wax globs though, and definitely didn't know about the delve daily bonus or brann's level cap of 15 currently, so good info overall! On the note of "things that tend to be reset with seasons", the DF infinite augment rune and drums still work currently, but may be rendered useless when season 1 starts based on precedent.

it's not those small crests, it's because of the valorstones as blizzard have this STUPID idea of putting a cap of 2k into valorstones, not giving you many AND also putting it to use 250 of them to make a spark, not to mention they are not transferable either, honestly the best thing to do would be using those crests into crafted gear like you said to save the valorstones and just use those small crests saving you the early upgrades, but they are also expensive so the best thing it's just to do world quests or the 571 hero gear and wait for m0's for veteran.

do you know how you could save yourself a lot of time and effort? Don’t try too hard. Just do some world content and the weekly quest and run a few dungeons and if you stay consistent with your character, you’ll hit 580 item level with no trouble at all. I’m sure this will be plenty. Good to get into, the LFR dungeons. If you are looking to get into normal, heroic, or mythic, then you would not even be watching these videos in the first place more than likely as long as you have halfway decent gear I know your rotation you’ll be good enough to do normal raids. Erotic I would think you would need maxed out veteran gear or maybe champion. To get into mythic raids I think having maxed out champion gear would be fine because you can’t even get myth level gear until you get into the raid in the first place, so the first people in the world that do these kind of dungeons and raids don’t have amazing gear.

Yes, don't spend your crests. Blow your gold for mats and work orders on gear that will be vendored by the end of next week because Bountiful Delves will drop 606ilvl. Save half your crests. My crafter gatherer alt army is at your service.

I can agree with you, but the best way to ilvl is doing Renowns, because you can have a maximum of 606 ilvl item. The order will be like that: Renown>Tailoring> Hero Dungs> Delves
