I definitely want to try this. the front half of my hair is super kinky and the back half is looser . It's not from heat damage because I cut my hair off a few years ago and started over . I would like to see if this works though

you are inspiring me....I have b.c so many times because I have high porous fine density hair and although I like the way I look with short hair....I desire to grow my hair without constantly getting split ends. I currently wear extension braids just to not deal with the work of touching or further damaging my hair. I will implement the protein treatment and hopefully it will help me achieve my goal of healthy hair in length and strength. thanks for your tutorial.👍

Thank you for posting this...it was needed! If I may take the liberty to add that many beauty supply shops sell sachets of these products that you can use for testing on small portions of hair. I absolutely loved your video. you gave so much insight & was very detailed. A few questions i had were: 1. when you used the first 2 protein treatment products did you use both on top of each other on each section of your hair? or did you use one at a time after washing them out at the suggested time?? 2. when allowing the protein products to sit, did you shampoo & deep condition wash them out?

question, you said it should stay on for a min for one half of your head and then 2 mins for the other half. So how long did you sit under the dryer? Are you counting the time you applied it, or you started timing it once you finished applying the product? thanks a lot ☺
@DayeLaSoul
@DayeLaSoul 8 жыл бұрын
+Vanessa Olszen I know my hair can handle protein so I did more than the suggested time but I recommend everyone follow the directions if unfamiliar. The time counts after applying (it would take more than a minute to apply it to your entire head so that wouldn't make sense to count as soon as the product touches your head).

does the leave in and curl definer leave your hair hard being as tho it has protein in it and you're low porous? I'm low porous as well and sometimes too much protein can make my hair stiff. the 2 minute reconstructor doesn't tho.

my hair is 4c and natural, And now that it has gotten longer which is great!!! my ends have become more thinner and transparent. Also my hair sheds like crazy! Since I leave it Braided under my weaves for a at least a month...Do u think that the protein treatment will make it thicker? And how many times do you use it exactly?
@DayeLaSoul

Check out the video to see the benefits of protein treatments. Also you may want to get those ends cut, if they’re transparent, they’re dead.

I have low porosity hair and I was looking for a protein treatment. I was told aphogee would be too strong for my hair but all this light protein such as Shea moisture jbco, ors, or African best aren't really working that well. Maybe I should give aphogee a try. Just hoping it wouldn't be protein overload.

+Salma Hafsa make sure you test patch. Porosity doesn't dictate protein sensitivity.
