Rayner, you were exactly correct on the EUR/JPY. Price came back during Brexit to the 20 and 50 ema, and afterwards continued the trend! Greetz!

Hi Rayner. Many thanks for invaluable lessons. I'm following you for the last 2 years and you have been extremely helpful. I find it much easier to find powerful trends in growth stocks than in currency pairs or other asset classes. Dont you think so?

Rayner I have a question about trending markets and trend following strategies: In MOST cases that I've seen, by the time the trend establishes itself, the trend is usually over. Have you found this to be the case yourself? If you follow the trend too early, you might find that it was not a trend after all and just a mere pullback. If you follow it later on, you might get screwed over because the trend is over and a reversal is on. So my question is: What is the right criteria that you can use to ensure you are in at the 'middle', not too early and too late.

They do work in every time frame, mate. The thing here is that the shorter the time frame, the more you have to pay in comission/spread.

Hello Rayner, I am very new to trading. my biggest challenge is missing trades. I know if I would trade full time (quite my day job) things would be different. please give me a tip or 2 on how to address missing trading opportunities. is there a reliable reminder which I can use for this please? thanks a lot

Hi Rayner, Thanks very much for all the videos you do and all the free info on your website, I have really found it useful in my own trading journey and you have inspired me a lot :) I know you like to trade trends, as I also do. My question is, have you found that any markets are better suited to trend trading than others? You seem to trade mostly forex and some commodities. Do you believe those are better suited to your style of trading than stocks? Some more reflection on that (maybe in another video) would be great! I trade mostly stocks and ETFs myself. Thanks a lot!

Great video rayner! In your first example of usd/jpy wasn't that a break out past the prior swing low so it would be a good time to short? Or do you always wait for price to go to area of value and not trade a breakout because it's too far from swing high where your stop would be? What about just using the bottom of that breakout candle for your stop since that prior support should become resistance now if it's a true breakout?

what are those criteria you put in place before you enter the market on trend apart from 20-50 MA (area of value) and support and resistance

Hi Rayner, I'm a momentum swing trader and base my my trades on TA and fundamentals. Since I am a momentum trader, I typically utilize the stochastic and the MACD indicators. MA are also supporting indicators in my decision making process. Do you utilize any other indicators for your style of trading? I know you are primarily a trend trader and probably don't utilize it much, but didn't know if you utilize momentum indicators or oscillators to time your trades. Thanks in advance. I'm enjoying your videos and your presentation! It's refreshing that young people are taking advantage of their future opportunities in a world where many young people are wasting away their potential. Keep it up!!!!
