I dont think she had to because she used 40v developer which brings thae hair to level 10 already & since shes already blonde so using the purple shampoo was enough to tone. I only use 30v to save my hair a bit Lol and go 2 rounds if I need to for an hour first time and half hr second time. Sometimes I still have to tone with an ash blonde, depending on the brand of bleach I can just tone with purple shampoo.
