How To Bleach Paint Designs On Your Jeans

Fun and Easy! In this easy to follow video tutorial, we are going to bleach paint whimsical designs and retro hippie swirls onto an old pair of thrifted jeans. Along the way, I will give you tips on how to help keep bleach from eating holes through your jeans. This is a great way to add some pizazz to your wardrobe. Like a rippling pond in the summer. Beautiful! What about drawing the lines with washable glue if you want a sharper line? I think that 'gel' non-splash bleach would be better for me because i get messy! But thanks for the tip about it not soaking in as fast. I would not have known that. And thanks Sheila! Tracey... try a gel bleach.. here...1 cup warm water 3 tablespoons cornstarch Small saucepan.. med heat till it gels Whisk 6 tablespoons bleach tada.. stick in a squeeze bottle and draw

Just a hint, I used a chalk marker pen to draw as that’s all I had. It works really well! I think these work so well because of the attention to detail, you curve the liquid lines around the legs and treat it as 3D. Another triumphant interpretation!

I love these!! Please let us know if you noticed a difference using the hydrogen peroxide. And, maybe how they “wear”…if you get any holes because of the duration of time the bleach had to remain on the fabric. Thanks for this video!! ❤

The only thing wrong about doing this is, don’t expect the jeans to last for long, as the undiluted bleach eats away at the fabric and weakens it, then they just fall apart
