Thank you for making that video save me time and money DIY as you clearly explained it. Came out to my Scrambler sitting for about a month and had no pressure on the back brakes. This solved it. 👍

Saved a lot of money as well from evading sending to Ducati services, they charghe a 1000 euros or something per service. My nightshift needed a new muffler cover, new brake lever, and one indicatpr and one front fork, they told me 10,000 USD. The bike was only 13,000 USD ! I told em to xxx off its now being customized with alternative parts. xxxck Ducati company, love Ducati bikes

Thanks, very informative. How often do you think you need to do this? My rear brake pedal has become v mushy at around 6500km

Becareful that brake cleaner will discolor the black plastic parts. Clean wet rag better for wiping up brake fluid.

can always spray them black again

does the stock front brake ever get solid, like real solid? I've been bleeding mine but still feels a bit spongier than I'd like.

Hi there Do you have to anything on the ABS or it does not affect it at all?
@tylerpayne6031 Жыл бұрын
According to the dealership the propper way to bleed rear brake is to take the break off and hold it above the abs when bleeding

thanks, the more we know how to do it ourself the less we have to send to Ducati who rip us off all the time with overpriced services and overpriced repair parts etc

I'm not convinced this is effective with ABS brakes. My Scrambler is now 8 years old. I bled then using this system, it was not entirely satisfactory. I now use a hand held vacuum pump. I think perhaps due to the ABS there was still entrained air bubbles in the system which do not show up using your method. cover the entire tank instead of that little collar of paper towel. Also, should you have piston/master cylinder problems Ducati will not sell you an overhaul kit. They will only sell you an entire master cylinder and reservoir assembly. Quite expensive, but hydraulics shops do stock the correct rubber components

Can you direct me to a new set of handlebars as seen on this bike. I have recently bought one online and when it arrived it wasnt long enough to fit all of my controls on?

What diameter of tubing are you using to bleed the rear?
@sanadhaddad70 Жыл бұрын
I did this with an 8mm , it was a bit loose so i just put a hose clamp around it and heated the tip to shrink it , but a 6mm would work great
