I'm getting started in jewelry making soon for stress relief and these videos are SO informative and I appreciate them! Thank you!

That's perfect. Jewellery making is quite calming. I actually talk with my Jewel Box group members a lot about how jewellery making can help with stress and to make sure, especially at this time of the year, to take some time for yourself to do what you love. I'm so glad you found me. You also might want to sign up for my newsletter - I will send you an email when I release a new video so you won't miss anything. thestylemakersnetwork.com/

These are all beautiful Carol. I also saw a tip from another channel for those large hole beads. She bought some of the rubber earring backs, the ones that are more octagon shaped and placed the wide sides together on a head pin to keep them secure while making earrings. I wonder if you could use a big eye needle with tigers tail for a necklace or bracelet.

Hi, you could use a big eye needle with tiger tail but I don't understand why you would want to. Tiger tail doesn't need a needle as it's stiff enough to go through the beads on its own. With regard to the large hole beads, yes, in the past I've used a small bead which sits inside the large hole and that works just as well as the rubber earring backs and, in my opinion, is slightly easieer.

Hi! Thanks for all your lovely videos. I have learned a lot from them. Just a tip: Vickie from Avante Jewelry (on KZbin) has come up with an ingenious method of dealing with large hole beads. She puts those tiny plastic earring placeholders into the hole on both sides of the bead. They fit perfectly and are easily threaded. Cheers! Wendy from Canada.

Thanks Wendy. I've played with various other options for large hole beads. This worked for me quite well. The beads seem to stay where they are meant to be, which is good, without the added component. If I wasn't putting a bead cap on, I would have put a tiny bead inside as that's worked well for me in the past.

What a great variety of bead in that kit Carol! Funny name for the kit because your creations are anything but ugly! Beautiful work.

Thank you so much, Sarah. I certainly didn't think there was anything ugly about the kit either.
