This reminds me I skipped one of your newer ones because I wanted to see the whole thing while I was working! Thanks Dan! While using a blow dryer I use a number 7 up and out from the bottom, then comb down with a number 8. After that I hit the mustache with a number 2. IF I need a bit more I use the heated brush. Now that my hair dryer is working a lot better and getting my style more dialed in initially, a heated brush may be even easier to use too.

Love the update, Dan. My morning prep is almost identical to yours save for a few thing: first, I use a round brush to help me straighten the big waves I have on each side. Second, I usually use my hands to finish off after applying the butter. Not sure if waiting a bit after blowdrying before applying butter would make an impact, but I like to get in there with my fingers to get a feel for how greasy it is with the product and to help "velcro" those gray hairs together. They both work great but the Baby Bliss is hands down the best I have used. Night and day difference in speed and the feel of my beard after compared to any other ones I've used. I travel for work every week and have used countless hotel ones and they all suck. I also always use a little argon oil before blow drying. Allmost the same like you Afther shower I use 1. A wood came out and blow dry it in every direction. 2. Pure Jojoba olie came it down. 3. Get dressed and let the olie soke in the skin. 4. Take a good size finger of awesome beard balm and get that awesome balm in the beard and came it down with a rond womens brush with the blow dryer on warm air blowing down. 5. Afher some minutes get some moustache wax and get the stache in model with a beard brush. Done👊

Hey Dan nice video. Quick question for you. I often use the same techniques you have shown in your videos but I still have issues getting rid of those waves and dips under my chin. I've watched numerous of your videos on the topic but nothing seems to do the job perfectly. Any other suggestions you might have?
@DanCBearded5 жыл бұрын
Hey brotha, have you tried a heated brush?

@@DanCBearded I got a cheap one a while back but wasn't super impressed. Do you think if I invested in a better quality brush that would make a difference?

I have natural waves under my chin, so much so that getting out of bed, my beard is at 90 degrees trying to leap off my face. After my shower, I towel dry, oil and comb and then leave it while I get dressed etc. Then I blow dry, but first, I just pull my beard tight on my chin and give it a few seconds of high heat before I go to warm and do the whole beard. Straightness all day.

Did you apply oil before blow dryer and after styling apply balm or butter..?
@DanCBearded5 жыл бұрын
Oil before, wait 5 minutes, then heat. I did not apply balm, butter, or anything else after heat. Just style with the brush

Have a couple quick question for ya Dan. If you have an incredibly curly beard naturally and you straighten it with a blow dryer every morning, will taking a couple days off here and there and leaving it naturally curly cause it to not stay trained to straighten every day? Also, does it have any other negative effect? I still use beard oil and butter on the days I don't style it. Any help would be appreciated. I noticed on those days once in a while my chin will hurt from the hair being curly. It is about 4 inches in length at the moment if that helps. Gonna grow it to about 7 or 8 inches. Have a good one.
@DanCBearded3 жыл бұрын
No worries with that at all. Training doesn’t really exist much, unfortunately. Style is a daily battle, so taking days off doesn’t have any negative impact
