I know I'm late to the video, but.... Having bought the small kit from you recently (3 weeks ago), I'm curious about the oxy propane settings. Are you working with the start up pressures in your other video. Also, when you're adjusting the flame, are you increasing just the oxy or both?

nice little bubbler. Been interested in getting something from Purr.....but I'm kinda done with the $100-$300 level stuff.....but still don't feel I know nearly enough to be spending big bucks on top shelf and/or custom stuff....
@dizzle11195 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I just want a cool little skull w/ 3 or 4 spider leg lookin' things to hold it up. Fit in my palm w/ the 3 or 4 arms pokin' between my fingers. Feel like I should be able to make that happen for $800-$1,200. Just don't how to go about looking for it, trusting someone to do it & NOT fucking it up, etc etc etc. Hell, based on the luck I've had buying on the rack shit (control boxes, coils, random atomizers, etc etc etc).....it'd probably be a VERY VERY bad idea for me to put the $800-$1,200 into this anyways. Seriously, 3/4 of the items I buy that pertain to this hobby arrive to me busted, cracked, unworking, defective, blah blah blah. Half the companies won't even reply to emails....and half of the ones who do reply are fucking dickheads.

I will be perfectly honest with you. Whatever I'm working on at that moment is my best creation. You should totally pursue glassblowing if you are being called to it. I'm sure you will love it. You can simply take a class or workshop to gain some basic skills. Hope that helps and thanks for the support ✌️

@@PurrGlass If glassblowing had been available to me as a young'un....I would have been all over it. My parents always collected Pilgrim/art glass stuff....so I have been around it forever. Just never knew shit about 4/20 til not long ago (not that I knew NOTHING. I just live somewhere where we don't have access to jack shit). That is no longer the case....so I got A LOT more interested a month or 2 back.

Why not just flame cut the joint instead of cut with a wet saw and then flame cut it? Just curious
@PurrGlass5 жыл бұрын
Great question, cutting with the saw is much cleaner. Avoids popping the hole & fairing open after flame cut. Hope that helps ✌️
