hey i've done everything I could on this as my HP does not seem to have some options for the legacy. USB is not recognised no matter what. Is there anything else you can share regarding this? edit: whole installation process went smooth after booting in usb2 flash drive lower than 16gb

Didn't need to open flap to disconnect ribbon cable. Unplug from hard drive. Pulls right out
