Hey I'm a newbie can someone explain what he did at 11:20? Why did he create saturn 2 on the kick channel and then pasted it on the bass or am i seeing it wrong? And what changes did he do on the bass shot after the cut at 14:15?

Hey! So I accidentally put the Saturn2 on the kick first. So it didn’t do anything. I just swapped it onto the bass and deleted it on the kick.

@@badforyou7560 Thank you so much. And with Saturn2 you only defined the bands which are just frequency ranges to push the volume of certain parts of the sound? For Sidechaining I am using the volume tool of shaperbox 3 and I've heard it, as you said in the video, that Boris uses Saturn2 for it so I am wondering what might be the advantage.

I don’t think there’s quite something like a „advantage“ or disadvantage. It’s more something like a routine. He said it in one of his interviews, if I remember correctly. That it’s just easy to use for him so never really changed the way he does it. So if you feel comfortable with the shaperbox plugin. Just keep using it. :) there’s no right and wrong. I’m using the Fabfilter C3 compressor to sidechain. Just so I have a little more control over the sound. Is that the right way? Maybe just for me personally :)

@@badforyou7560you used 'digga' in your project. i was in berlin for vacation. in shops in streets in clubs everybody uses this "digga" thing i was unable to phrase it correctly :D its like "dika" for me then i realised if its like a pronoun for someone it should be "bro" or "sis" kinda like that. I asked one person she was collecting money for africa or whatsoever she said i dont know what ur talking about :( then i realised this is for man only? Am I right DIGGA? :d
