Do not freeswing as a 2-hander, you don't want muscle it, but you will lose a lot of control trying to 100% freeswing because of the extra mechanics involved with a 2-handed approach

Hi, I’m the one who made the video. There is a medium between freeswinging and muscling that is accomplished when bowling 2 handed.

@@NueroDivergentProductions yeah, the point I was trying to get across was that you won't be able to get the power you need if you freeswing the ball back, but it's not a pushing motion with the crutch arm, but a pulling motion with your throwing arm

@@colddekstarFair. I could have worded that differently.

Why do people have to use 2 hands and no thumb now?? Before I quit bowling 20 years ago the only people that used 2 hands were little kids who couldn't lift the ball with 1 hand. I carried a 205-215 average bowling twice a week and I know plenty others that were much better than me. We typically didnt play so far up the center of the lane, my home was always around the 3rd arrow and the ball would swing out to between 1st and 2nd arrow (I cant remember the board numbers anymore, I threw a pretty big hook and was more of an "area" bowler than a "pinpoint" bowler anyways).

Game and equipment has evolved. I found it easier to bowl with 2 hands as one handed never worked out with me. Bowling 2 handed raised my average 20 pins.

I get it, I understand how and that it does work, but I still hate it 😅
