What I’ve realized is that most people, a large majority, have no idea what they are doing but will give opinions as if they have all knowing knowledge. Don’t listen to them unless they are giving you a forewarning against you possibly physically hurting yourself (I.e, don’t leave food out in your campsite when bears are around) lol. There are natural laws like the fact that bears are attracted to the smell of food, that can’t be denied regardless. But if they are providing a heavy opinion they are trying to pass as fact, take it all with a grain of salt.

@@simpleton2090 Totally! I've learned this from taking writing workshops as well. If you were to apply all the (often contradictory) feedback from your classmates, your story would be a mess. The only feedback I really give weight to is my instructor's since they are a successful published author and I am literally paying them for the opportunity, but even then I use discernment. That's not to say others' opinions are invalid, but if you applied everything everyone said without listening to your inner guidance, you would be a ship without a rudder. "Take what resonates, leave the rest" has served me well in life.

Joseph, I'm super grateful for all your videos over the years. This one though, this one changed my life. "I" held on to beliefs from childhood that seemed impossible to overcome. We are told to honour and respect our parents in order to live a healthy, prosperous life. But what if our parents didn't align with the TRUE nature of I AM? What if they spoke as if they were the authority about many topics that they really weren't? This video helped me understand that I can love them unconditionally while releasing the authority I gave them over certain aspects of my life via false beliefs.. Using these techniques I can be in alignment with prosperity again. Thank you.

We had a friend who people believed had brainwashed himself into believing he was supernatural and spiritually superior. But upon further inspection, his wisdoms lent suggestion that he was in fact in a true state of satori. He seemed to have gleanings about reality that are reserved for the deities alone. It was a limiting belief in the others minds then, and a defense mechanism to say he had brainwashed himself.

There are words used in hypnotism (and it's the same as the words people use) to program your subconscious if you don't do it first (but you can still undo it) CAN - BECAUSE - SO - AND for example: I CAN learn to ride a bike BECAUSE my brother is a good teacher, SO I AM starting tomorrow, AND I EXPECT to be successful at it in a few days. The subconscious prefers persuasion rather than an authoritarian style (according to my own experience) I know it's over simplified but it's a basic format for constructing affirmations (long form)
