Hi ​I will like to share with you how I found freedom. I was bound but found freedom in CHRIST. The Bible says in HEB 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. I went to the word of God and study what the Bible says concerning sexual immorality. I realized I can't overcome sin or the temptations to sin with motivational speech. We use the word of God which is the sword of the spirit (eph 6) The bible says in Titus2:11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, I realized I can't fight with my own strength alone. Countless number of times I would promise never to do it yet, I fall short. I realized I must allow God to help me and this can be done by obeying his instructions, one of which is flee from every youthful lust. I ended the relationship I was in to. I rededicated my life to CHRIST. I stayed away from friends and materials that constantly make me want to indulge example books, movies, music etc secondly I replace the bad habits with good ones example reading/studying at least 5 chapters of the bible daily, make godly friends, attend a bible believing Church and have an accountability partner. I also got delivered through brethren. Having someone I am accountable to and also me maintaining an open and honest heart before God and brethren. it's 3yrs now,I have never gone back to it. Hello Tanozzy Your coming across this video is a sign that God is really interested in you personally and needs you to realize that masturbation defiles not just your flesh, but your spirit. 2nd Corinthians 7:1 NKJV says "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God". The sponge stays under clean water for a good while. That's how to get the sponge clean. Your spirit gets saved through the blood of Jesus. Your soul gets saved through the washing of the water by the word. Ephesians 5:26 says that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word. That's brings us to the place of scripture in our lives. Soak yourself in the scripture. James 1:21 says 'Therefore lay aside all filthiness and remaining wickedness and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls'. Psalm 119:105-112 says Your word is a lamp for my feet, and light on my path. When the word of God directs you, you won't stumble because there is no darkness. Acts 2:42 NKJV says 'And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers'. Find a local church that actually fears God. Give your life to God if you haven't. Make yourself accountable to people who are more spiritually mature. Do everything you can to overcome masturbation. That being said, you will agree with me that every good parent is ever willing to help their children whenever they are in need or cry out, but no parent will be happy with a child who after being rescued, constantly returns to the same trap they were rescued from. What are the contents of the things you see? Movies..? Browsing sites? Pictures..? If this things are filthy or contains a touch of filth like immoral scenes, surely you'll be bound by the things you're trying to escape from.. Clear your phones from things like this, stay away from certain kind of movies that can stir up these things, watch what your eyes feeds on, instead spend more time reading your Bible and getting clean.. What of the places you go? Do you go to places where the people around you talk dirty things or do dirty things? Do you have dirty kind of conversations with people? Stop hanging out with those kind of people, stop being in places where you'll be tempted to listen to those kinds of conversation.. Rather, work time more around godly people that their words have been seasoned with salt. Above all.. Have a good relationship with God which comes from having to hear God daily from your Bible and people that preached the true gospel.. Be intentional about getting free.. Remember 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil.

Hello T. God is always willing to forgive our trespasses. But the big question is, are you willing to let go of the sins that so easily beset you? From your comment, I perceive that you are struggling with masturbation. I know it feels like you can't overcome this, but guess what, you can. Not just by declaring it with your mouth, but also by your actions. Ephesians 5:26 says 'to sanctify her (the church, and by extension, you), cleansing her by the washing with water through the word'. The blood of Jesus justifies us. His word sanctifies, cleanses us as with pure water. This is a process. It's involves work. That's what the Bible referred to as working out your salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12 'Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling'. In your case you might wonder how you can work out your salvation, let me give you some help tips. 1. Get born again if you are not. Confess Jesus not just as your Savior, but also as your Lord. If you are not yet baptized in the Holy Spirit, not just with water, then look for who can lay hands on you and impart the Holy Spirit to you but if you find no one to do so, then you can ask God directly for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Truth is, without the Holy Spirit in you, all your efforts will most likely be in vain. It's the Holy Spirit in us that helps us. He's one person you can't do without. 2. Disconnect yourself from all the sources of your temptation, even if it means giving out your devices for the time being to someone else who needs it until you have learnt how to fight properly e.g Your phones or laptops . 3. Surround yourself with people that are sound in the faith, and render yourself accountable to them. Be honest and open. Also confess to them everytime you stumble in this aspect. 4. Drown yourself in the river of God's word. Sit with a book and a pen. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you. He's a teacher. Truth is, you don't get rid of weeds by planting nothing, you get rid of weeds by planting useful crops, In this case the word of God. Your thoughts have to be replaced. Fill up your thoughts with virtuous things and you'll find yourself not even thinking about crazy filthy scenes. Yes You can be helped.. Let me share my sister's testimony with you I was addicted to pornography few years ago. I watch it whenever I had the slightest time of being alone. Yes I was tried of it but I couldn't stop. I cried, prayed but it felt no help was coming through. I was a christian, a baptized christian. How did my freedom come? First, I realized I was not fighting the right way. I was fighting with my strength alone. Indeed, by strength shall no man prevail. It is not by power, neither is it by might but by the Spirit of God. I rededicated my life to Christ and began to seek him genuinely. I read my Bible. I read my Bible. Fed on the word of God as much as I could. My mind was like a sex pool but I kept fighting with the word of God. The temptation became stronger when I started seeking God but through the help of Godly company and listening to godly contents I was able to fight. Whenever the enemy comes with his temptation a scripture will come to mind and I will confess it. Sometimes the urge will come so strongly I will pick up my Bible and read aloud. Also, the church I started attending gave room for an accountability system. In the sense that, I was given an older christian whom I could be accountable to. There were times I was alone and it seems the enemy want to play on my mind I will put a call through inform how I was feeling and seek godly counsel. Honestly, through the constant help and counsel I received gave me strength to keep fight. Even though it was difficult and seems impossible I was never condemned rather I was love into victory. I stayed away from music, videos, novel, sites that tempts me to return back to my vomit.
