I would recommend to use a yoga mat and about 2-4 dumbbells, they make the breaking in process much faster and glove out preservers the leather so it lasts longer, love the color way

The yoga mat and weights are a good idea, I didn’t think of that. As for glove oil, I used a little on my blonde a2k and it made a stain on the web. 44s blonde is a lot lighter in color, so that’s why I didn’t use the glove oil. Thanks for the comment!

It’s great! Still pretty stiff, but I can close it the way I like it. 44s generally take a long time to break in well, and it’s not fully broken in

It’s ok. It really makes a difference quickly if you break the glove in thumb to pinky. If your glove is already broken in, you will start to notice a difference in thumb to pinky in a week or two

Like it says on their website, 4-6 weeks. I got mine in 4 1/2 because I live in Washington, closer to San Diego where the gloves are made. If you lived in New York for example, it might take closer to 6

A2K is much better quality, but 44 is great for the price, plus it’s custom

There’ll be creases that naturally form on the back of your glove, because there isn’t such thing as perfectly smooth leather. It’s totally normal, and I’m not sure if you can get rid of it

It easier to hit the spots with the mallet. It doesn’t work as well if I’m just hitting the laces

Tie it the same way the other laces are tied on the glove
