If your strap still hasn't conformed to the shape of your mug (or other cylindrical object), you may want to run this procedure for another *ten minutes* - five in hot water, five in cold water - or to be certain, simply run this process for *twenty minutes* from the get go to get that perfect fit!

Using the inside of mug as a mold is a great idea, thanks! I have an tropic strap that I had hoped would break in over the last few weeks, but it's still uncomfortably rigid. Going to give it a shot today.

It should definitely do the trick!

Skip the cold water, strapping the watch on your wrist while it's still warm will further allow the strap to contour to your wrist, wrists are not perfectly round.

Not recommended to put a watch on really hot water then putting it in cold water. It could mess up the seals.

Great topic but your delivery is not great. You need not add the pregnant pause for effect so often. It is used to add drama, a two minute video should have about one dramatic moment. Take my advice or leave it. Be hurt or use it to improve your channel/vids. Remember this is youtube not NPR, and that's why we are watching you and not listening to them.
