Hi my dear Proficient Masteress and mentor Lucy, I am very much thankful about your the most miraculous, mind-blowing, delightful, guidanable and excellent lesson about C-1 and C-2 level. According to me, I feel that C-1 is the level of fluency for a non-native speaker who tries to become fluent like the native and C-2 is the level of fluency for the native who is already fluent in the fluency of a language.

"To call a spade a spade" has an equivalent in Italian, but with bread. We say "dire pane al pane", that sounds like "to call bread, bread".

Hey Lucy, I have been watching your videos for the last two years. It would be amazing if you could do videos on vocabulary related to holidays, cooking, a school day, and a workplace with a touch of British culture in it.

Why not? But I believe she already has something like this, however it woud be great to have new ones.
@dishikakanwal521510 ай бұрын
@@MyDanymax Her content is absolute gold. In my opinion, videos focusing on vocabulary related to various aspects of life would be refreshing. While she has similar content, there's still a lot to explore :)

Hi Lucy ! Could u please teach me the difference of “must” and “ have to” ? I’m Vietnamese and I’m want to know that. Thank you!
@EnglishwithVahid17 ай бұрын
"Must" often conveys a strong sense of personal obligation or necessity, and it is commonly used when the speaker feels strongly about the necessity of an action. Example: "I must finish this report by tonight". "Have to" often implies that the necessity comes from an external source, such as rules, regulations, or other people. Example: "I have to finish this report because my boss said so." "Must" is more common in formal contexts and written English. Example: "Students must wear uniforms." "Have to" is more common in everyday conversation and informal contexts. Example: "You have to try this new restaurant." Got it? If not, I can explain more.

Thank you for the advanced vocabulary. It would be really helpful for improving my vocabulary range. I am doing fine with using basic or mid words in my dialog, but it is another level to use more expansive and advanced words when I have an English conversation. Your lesson is my leverage to make me a better English speaker.
