Ever wondered how the game would change if you removed the damage cap in Xenoblade 2? It is a great world where we are no longer limited by the hitcounts of our specials but rather the damage we can deal! Damage over time becomes even more bonkers. Perhaps our friend Poppi gets even more broken! It is worth noting this does require modding the game but setup after that isn't too bad. Idea! Max out Pneuma’s affinity to S+, give her Mythra’s crit recharge ability, and make her infinitely active just because why the hell not. And then let’s see what happens if active party damage boost effects like fiora’s, shulk’s, dagas’s, adenine, and patroka’s could be active even while not being presently used. Idk, just some food for thought, lol. Also maybe take blades like poppi qtpi, corvin, crossette, elma, fiora, etc and put them in torna and see what that does, lmao.

I love that not only are certain blades so overpowered the damage cap of 999999 is about 100x lower than the actual amount of damage that is possible, the 900 mil damage is only that low because the game can only calculate up to 9 digit numbers!

The first one gives you a little more liberty. If you choose the ladder challenge, then if you take damage, you have to completely start over. Doesn't matter if you get to Aion and get hit right before you defeat it. You reset your game.

How does your Kos Mos do that much damage normally? Mine does probably 1/10th of the damage cap at level one special with a level 1 special enhancer, outdoor damage, moon matter chip... MY QTpi is exactly the same setup as yours and doesnt damage cap. My T-Elos usually hits damage cap easily though. I have 3 burst symbols and a crit symbol. Also special damage up pouch items.

For fusion combos, if I already have a level 1 special, then I break, does that set up a fusion combo. Will it set up a fusion combo if I do it the other way(break->lvl 1)?

using a break when you already have a level 1 special will only increase the blade combo (special) duration. The other way sets up the damage boost fusion combo I do a lot.

I don’t understand why the uncapped damage caps before 1 billion. I don’t know much about coding, but what I would’ve guessed is that it would be a limit of how many digits in binary that are being utilized to calculate damage numbers, but that can’t be right: 2^29 is 536,870,912, which is far less than the over 900 million that is seen at several points throughout the video, and 2^30 is 1,073,741,824, which is more than 1 billion, which was stated to be unachievable. I wonder what could be really causing this second level of damage cap? Keep in mind, I know almost nothing about coding in general, let alone coding a game.

@@EnelXC Damn, I was hoping giving the Aegis the trust she deserves would actually make her worth it. Oh well, maybe you can show how to do it for sentimental value reasons. Given how I imagine modding opens up the possibility of editing Blade stats and skills, I think it'd be interesting in the future if you had a "Making X blade BROKEN" (like MagicScrumpy) where you take bad blades and discuss what you can add that'd make them better...though perhaps it won't change much, since discussions would probably roll back to: "GIVE EVERYONE KAISER ZONE!111!!!"
