This helped me so much today. My nearly 3 week old baby cluster feeds and then naps right after. Any time I'd set her down to sleep she'd wake and cry and we'd have to start all over again. This let her nurse then fall asleep and let me get up and move around and do things, albeit one handed. But that's better than feeling trapped in the rocker for hours! Thank you so much.

Awe, Thanks, Faythe! Yes, I can't believe my youngest baby, David, in this video is already 5 yrs old and a new kindergartener. No matter how old my children are and where we all are in the stage of motherhood, my aim is to support and empower mothers around the world. I'm glad the video was helpful!

hello thank you for your videos really helpful, but do you need to hold head throughout?
@asobisport4 жыл бұрын
Great question, Maria! Holding your baby's head/neck is a safety measure. It just gives you that extra comfort in knowing where your child is and that his or her air passage is not obstructed. It's not necessary to hold Baby's head/neck but I do believe it could be safer to at least have one hand on or close by to your baby at all times. Of course, listen to your baby and keep checking into his or her needs.

Thank you so much for this! Going out has been hard for us because I can’t get the hang of breastfeeding in our wrap. This will be so helpful for my son and I!

I'm so glad these videos can give you comfort and tools to go out more frequently with Baby! I hope you're getting the hang of it now. Crazy enough, I found walking while breastfeeding such a soothing measure (for both me and my babies.) Walking was calming. When we're all calmer, breastfeeding feels easier.

You're very welcome! You know I almost didn't make this series because I felt awfully tired at the time. Looking back on it, it's one of the best things I did while nursing my youngest--seize the opportunity to share knowledge and empower others!

My sproglett is almost 8 months and I have struggled to work out how to feed her in the wrap. How old did you do this in that style wrap for with your son? We are off on a day out soon and it would be good to be able to feed and move rather than having to sit even if my sproglett is fairly quick unless feeding to sleep.
@asobisport3 жыл бұрын
You can definitely feed your 8 month old in the wrap like this. Extend her legs and use the seat belt between her legs and over her bottom and back. (This way she can kick her legs freely.) Play with the carrier and explore a method that feels great for both of you. Make sure you’re comfortable as your child will respond to your comfort level. Best of luck and let me know how it goes! If you figure out how to breastfeed on the go, life as a mother becomes extremely liberating. :)

Wow!!! Super mom!! This is awesome, can't wait to try with my five week old who insists on making me walk or bounce while she feeds.
@asobisport4 жыл бұрын
Great attitude, Yooper! I bet your baby will love it when you walk and nurse her. Having at least one hand free and the weight of your daughter held securely by the wrap will be a sensation you'll treasure!

Thank you for the great tutorial! Did you also figure out how to tandem breastfeed your twins in a wrap? Mine are 2 months now but I have yet to find a way to bf both on the go, :)
@asobisport4 жыл бұрын
Congratulations, Tamara! Yes, I experimented with all sorts of ideas when it came to wearing two babies at once. When my twins were younger, I could fit both twins on my front in the same carrier and tandem nurse. I even did this in the hospital on day one! Some I played with one feeding on my front and the other on my back. Here is a twin breastfeeding video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYiWh3-pp5arr8k. And there are more ideas on my playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PL7A7A4FDDE2F9C18B. Have fun!

What kind of shirts would be good to buy to breast feed
@asobisport4 жыл бұрын
Hi Debbie, I'm sorry I couldn't respond sooner. I prefer nursing tanks that pull down as opposed to lift up. Any V neck stretchy tank or nursing tank that clips on the strap can work.
