How to Breathe Life in a Overdone Genre

Hey guys, I was quite excited to make this video as I've always enjoyed the video essay format and Mushoku Tensei is easily one of my favorite anime that I've seen! Hopefully you guys enjoyed it, but also don't be too harsh please. It is my first time making one of these kind of videos

@@CConnau yes, the stock is a problem with this series. Volume 14 came out 4 days ago and i had pre ordered it, however it was already out of stock when it launched lol. Its going out of stock even before launch, so starting now i will have to pre order them a year prior

Ah yes the progenitor of modern Isekai, of course it will be goated. And people who said there was no character development in MT, were they smoking while watching it? Let's take an example of Eris, don't they realized how much she changed since she first introduced? From a hot blooded annoying tsundere to a reasonable person who now think before she act and actively trying to be considerate to other people. The amazing thing is the author didn't changed her character suddenly just like a switch, but instead we can see why she changed, it's because all the experiences she gained while traveling and together with Rudy and Ruijerd, all the hardship they faced together, that's how a character should grow in a story, not with EXP but with experience, real experience. They will grow, it happens and will happen to every characters in MT and that's the reason why Mushoku Tensei is fascinating.

I agree with you on the development of characters in Mushoku Tensei. The author does a great job. I am up to Volume 19 of the LN and I have also read the WN. It is the greatest story on the level of Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit. I would like to differ on Shield Hero since in the light novel his tragedy comes from the isekai world, not his past life. He has to toughen up from a naive person to become powerful slowly and with the help of friends. I don't want to reveal spoilers but he has to isekai to different worlds, not just the original one he was brought. Great job on your video.

Even a side character has more interesting story than most isekai in mushoku tensie especially in LN its so deep the most deep anime i have watch only problem is the romance💀 kinda can turn off people.
