Thanks for this great tutorial. I've done brick stitch on it's own successfully, but not so successfully around a form. This video will be a big help. I'm thinking if I ladder stitch a few beads and then attach that bit onto the form, I might save myself a little confusion and frustration. Not sure, but I might try that cuz it looks like you ladder stitch the first 2 beads after attaching them to the ring. I saw some really cute red, white & blue earrings similar to these but with looped fringe. Now I know how to get those started. Thanks again!

I love this technique! And it’s funny that you did this video now - I’ll share the story. Before I found your channel, I was watching videos from stores that sold beading supplies. Beadaholique has a kit for earrings done this way, which I had bought and made. A few weeks ago, I was looking through your older videos and came across your lariat necklace video. You had used one of these large links which reminded me about them because I wanted to order more to make more earrings. In the comment section of that video, someone suggested that ordering links from Golden Age Beads. I clicked the link and they had a ton of them for great prices. I just got my order in the mail and then I see this video!!! Too funny, right?! And, this is most likely where I saw brick stitch and going through the bead underneath (remember my confusion from your brick stitch tutorial)! Thank you for sharing and thank you for giving me a little giggle for the timing of it all! 💜💜💜

What size crimp cover do you use when you’re working with a 2 mm crimp tube.
@ORCHIDandOPAL4 жыл бұрын
Hi Regina! You will want to go with at least a 3mm crimp cover. Hope that helps!

Hi Gina. Thank you for another great video. I was wondering is there a way to hide the thread that is around the circle ring? I’d be very interested in seeing something, anything that could hide the thread. Thank you again for the code to get $2.00 off the bargain bead box. For us Canadians the $17.95 came to $28.00 Canadian funds with the coupon. I haven’t received it yet bc they are behind bc of the virus. They said I should get it this week. I’m so excited! 💥💝🥰🤗
@ORCHIDandOPAL4 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan! You're so welcome for the coupon code! Glad you will still be able to get the box in Canada - I am excited to receive my box soon too. :) As far as hiding the threads, you can conceal them better with a thread color that better matches your findings, or with a more transparent thread. I used the smoke color more for tutorial purposes - easier for you all to see. It helps if the threads appear neater too, and things look a lot more obvious when so close up on the videos than they do in real life, so keep that in mind. Thanks so much for watching!
@susanroberts4 жыл бұрын
Yes I appreciate the colours you use on camera. It really does make a difference for us to see better. Thank you! I was wondering, could we put a layer of beads on the inside of the finding? And if so how would we be able to do that? Maybe a new tutorial for the future if it’s doable? 😺💝🥰 thank you so much for all you do for us. I’ve learned so much from your tutorials. You really are great! 💝🥰

Gina Gina, is there anything you can't do??? I name you the Chief Chef of bead weaving. I am trying all the bead weaving items and this is now next on my list. I am doing great. I piling up merchandise to open my on line store by next Summer. Right now I am finding myself becoming slightly irritable when I pick a friend to help and I am constantly redoing their pieces. That is more time wasted. So now I doing it all myself. I see the slightest tiny tiny little error and I redo it. Hopefully, one day my name will be on my products and the designer's name is important. If the name gains a bad rap then that is not good for business. Thank you for all your teaching. Whoever gave that thumbs down needs a spanking, hehehehehe, just joking. I wrote down your stash of different fire line threads I asked about. I working on them now too. Here is a bit of news, I shopping around for two new kitties from the same litter. I want two females. I am going to give them human names. Hehehehehe. I will let you know when this happens and send pic through your e-mail. Awe, I love animals. Talk later dear friend.

You are so sweet, Anne!! I love that you are jumping into these beadweaving tutorials, and are having fun - that's what it's all about! 💜 Errors are just part of the process, and I still make them all the time, but at least we can take these things apart and redo when we need to, and the beads are still mainly usable! 💜 I would love to see the pic of your new kitties. I love animals too! Thanks so much for your comment - hope you have a great day!
