I’ve been running my small business full-time for nearly 4.5 years. Throughout this journey, I’ve experienced many wonderful moments that made me feel incredibly lucky, as well as times of deep demotivation. However, I’ve learned that my hard work always pays off. Over the years, I’ve perfected my sewing techniques, improved my photography skills, and honed my ability to sell both online and in person. I truly love what I do. Right now, I’m focusing on managing my income more effectively. Since my earnings can vary from month to month, I’m saving during my higher income months to prepare for the leaner times, like February and August when I often make less.

This was so helpful! I needed the reminder of putting all my energy in one outlet, I feel like I do sometimes hyperfocus on one outlet but i do the best in sales when its diversified (putting energy into online, markets and reaching out for wholesale). Also, I I also just started selling my coffee scented candles wholesale at my local coffee shop too! i want to try making matcha scented one next !!
