This method of finding square is excellent. Been using 6-8-10 method and t square method and have struggled to get my corners equal. This makes it money every time. Cheers!

I have put this rink up several times now. I highly recommend two things: One is that you paint the lines in once you have the strings laid out. It makes all of the difference in assembling the boards - especially if your backyard is uneven. The other is to be especially careful when installing the boards. If you drop one the point can easily pierce the liner.

great system, awesome boards, but i have yet to see a NiceRink on a surface with more than about 4" difference in grade corner to corner... very few back yards, unless they were built with a rink in mind, are ever graded like that.

This particular rink has has about 8" of slope. We have plenty of rinks with 6-10" of slope. Our boards and brackets with standard setup can hold up to 10" slope without any additional support!

@@NiceRink thats a great answer. so before using the system I should know what kind of slope i'm dealing with end to end.

I’ve had upwards of 12-13”. But learned my lesson a couple years ago and now have to brace that side with several additional wood stakes.

Is it really 7'6" for corners? I assume even the 24*44 version? For some reason it never seems to be right... 3 years running!
@sawyermontoya2 жыл бұрын
No, it’s not. 7’6” is only for the 40x60. Unfortunately, this kid is an idiot and fails to mention that. Must have taken too many pucks to the dome
@PbcMr2 жыл бұрын
Anyone know what it is for this size rink? Ie 24x44?
@PbcMr2 жыл бұрын
I found the video otherwise great.
@NiceRink2 жыл бұрын
@@sawyermontoya It doesnt have to be an exact ending/starting point because the boards don't measure 4' on the dot. With the corners being able to swivel in the corners you can be in 3-4in either off either because you'll always make it back up each corner. He actually started playing goalie post video creation so no pucks to the dome as of this point!

Same for every rink with NiceRink boards from 20' x 20' and bigger with a 3 board corner creation.
