When will the gizmo work like a proper gizmo in other 3d software. This thing is a hell to work with. PS there is an option to use local transform right. THat is much easier when moving and especially rotating items in the left window
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
You can change the gizmo in the 3D window... Right Click in the Background; you will see gizmo options.

You can change the material for just the side of the fabric. Also look at the Skive option. support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000616548-Skive-

Is there a trick to scale them all so the cap is tighter, it still looked a bit puffy. SOme what like a hat a train machinist has :)
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
You can select all in the 2D window, but only scale in small increments that way or the patterns will distort.

please tell me how to make the front of the cap more stiffer, its so floppy. ive tried using the bond and use the trim hardware material and adding thickness to it but they wouldnt work

Try using the Trim Fusible Rigid Fabric, then set the shape you want and use Solidify (Right Click).

@@CLO3D hi thank you very much for your reply, however i tried the fabric you suggested also i edit the physical property detail of the fabric to the numbers i saw online which would make the fabric very stiff, but it is still very floppy.is there any other way i can make it like a real hat brim?

So I am trying to make a hat on Dario, who has hair, but whatever I do to skin offset and collision thickness, the cap won't get on his head. I also tried to change the texture of the hair to a transparent file, but the barrier is still there. Is there a way to make the hair behave like hair? Edit: I found a sollution; right click on avatars hair and Delete Hair/Shoes. He is hairless now, but he got a hat.

Great video as always, how would i apply a graphic image for print or embroidery to the front and the peak of the cap?
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
In version 6 you can place a graphic over multiple pattern pieces. As long as you place it ON one of them and then adjust the placement, it should work.

After your pattern piece is in place, you can Right-Click on the Pattern Piece and choose Solidify. Also try using Trim-Full Grain Leather or Hardware for the Physical Property Preset.
