My ssg motor i used n52 neodydium magnets, its on my channel, i actually have a electromagnet with the powerful magnrt spinning inside of it, not only N facing, mine whistled while spinning from resonance, really your spinning wheel needs to be something heavy once its going it's hard to slow down takes less power to keep it spinning.

I am using a bike wheel off of an old exercise bike since the tire is solid rubber and it can be dressed to be perfectly round. I use Aylmers Polyurathane Glue to bond the magnets. My magnets are spaced so one is over each spoke as this gives good spacing.

What have your results been like with the Bedini SSG setup? Charging a battery or a bank of batteries? How quickly do they charge? Can the battery/batteries be connected to an inverter for use while charging?

I have a question: I understand that in a coil, the more one moves away from the metallic core of the coil, the less the magnetic field is strong. So in a Bobian, the turns that are farthest from the heart are less induced magnetically. I also understand that no matter the length of a metal hub, if it is magnetized it will magnetize instantly even if it measures 1 meter. My question is this: If we build a coil with a longer core, with the same length of wire but wrap closer to the core, even say that the wire will only make 1 turn on a coil of 1 meter ... It will not be better since the wire will be closer to the nucleus which will be fully magnetized anyway? Better than having a coil that gets bigger and goes further away from the nucleus.

Just wondering, isnt the flux (away from the core) what we want?
@ekeretteekpo3004 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video. I've been to the website. Thank you again for sharing. I am wondering if the material that forms the core of the coil can be some other type of welding rods. Over here I am seeing tungsten electrode rods (I don't understand what that even means), stainless steel welding rods, aluminium, plastic, etc.
@chusdiaz916011 ай бұрын
Other then charging a battery to make it make continue work what else have you done thats useful with the output. The ssq is ok but it dont do much.and to get a higher output you should make the ssg with a darlington pair (2transistors)

Hello, Please what is the name of the insulating paint used for prevernting eddy current?
@thedoityourselfworldelectr80075 жыл бұрын
I am not sure. Magnet wire comes coated already. But I one time laid out 200 feet of wire and spayed it with primer. It actually worked and is still good today. Once its wound, it wont matter.
@zikoraa5 жыл бұрын
I mean the iron core you pilled up. You painted each one of the before you stacked them inside the coil. But before that you painted each one of them. What is the name of the insulating paint used?

I used primer for that again. Simple automotive metal primer. Anything thin that stops current from flowing will work.

Question : If you spray paint the bailing wire or welding rods, wont some of them scrape off when being wedged into spool and touch each other with bare metal? I guess it is not really a issue since you have done it and have said nothing about it being a problem. I just wondered. Thanks for your efforts to present all this plainly.
@thedoityourselfworldelectr80077 жыл бұрын
Yes, some will scrape off in the process. But by reducing most of the electrical contacts, you reduce the eddy currents in the wires.
@thedoityourselfworldelectr80077 жыл бұрын
And not every scrape will be an electrical connection. Say the end of one wire scrapes the middle of another while pushing it through. There will not be a connection unless both wires are scraped in the same place and touching at the time.

Does the wheel diameter matter?
@thedoityourselfworldelectr80077 жыл бұрын
Not really. Biggest thing is that the bearings are or can be made to spin very freely and that it is a non magnetic wheel such as aluminum or plastic. I had a Bedini motor made using a roller skate wheel but dismantled it for safety. The thing ran so fast it was scary. Smaller wheels will spin faster for some reason.
