I noticed you changed your trailer tongue in this video and mentioned something but you speed right through this. Why did you change this? I noticed you notched them then bent them in to run parallel with the frame. Is this to make it stronger? Just curious what your thoughts were. Awesome video on your build progress. Thanks!

Cutting them to run parallel with the frame just gives the steel more places to weld to.

Keep in mind I built this before the cost of steel went up. And I bought the wheels tires and axles second hand. I’ll be doing another trailer soon just not as long.

Honestly that trailer was great, it pulled great and when I had my Camaro on it I barely noticed any extra weight. I’d do it again

The lady who was welding she looked unbelievably like a girl I knew in Saskatchewan who was a welder. I’m surprised after all the trailer videos I watch this is the first time one of your videos popped up but it was looking good.
