Next time, I recommend using a wood glue prior to clamping each of the pieces together. It will make a much stronger joint than using just pocket holes and screws. Just a suggestion.

I think, if she makes more of them, she will get better at the process. In my years of woodworking, I wouldn't stain until it was all fabricated.AND, for not using a jig, I think she did a good job,although, where is the rest?
