Me too they are my favorite things to build. I found this by accident but I got the spear trick from reactive gaming.

@@phucvu9770 it is but it's kinda finicky I had to destroy and replace a few time's but it's still possible.

A pity this method limited to 2x2 is a bit less flexible for different foundation pattern. But at least it's the only method works I tested, others seems fixed by the developers, and their video are outdated. Also I can understand what the "very difficult" means, imagine building a foundation above the plain where cannibals would ambush you at anytime, and poking the support log is kinda waste your stamina, less room for blocking and for fleeing.

@@potter6869 You can increase the size by building more floating foundations next to each other and then building a foundation connecting them together. I've gone as far as a 5x10.

@@Zombe000 i tryed this and it doesn´t work anymore because u can´t spear out any logs, stones or supports 😮‍💨

@@Ghostrider21371 Yes, it does still work. It probably didn't work for you because you might have missed a step or forgot structure damage needs to be "on" for it to work. You can always turn structure damage off again after you're done building. I just tested this in a save and it for sure still works as of Sept. 12th, 2024. (No mods were used).
