A good lesson in total combinations,each lovely & different. Having been given "carte blanche" to do the front garden in cooler colours, these are the perfect suggestions for it ! We will offset with evergreens in blue,lime and gold shades. It's a joy to paint the landscape gradually and watch it unfold. Thks.again,Rosie 🌞

All plants can be pushed out of the normal location. Yes these do need moisture retention or a good organic soil but also can take a bit more sun.

Hello if you use the 3 x plants for each clump then the border would need to be 475cm x 240cm with the allium just as fillers. If you use one plant as each clump then it would reduce the border size to 225cm x 120cm

Would I be able to adapt this for containers? I have 3 x 35cm square pots slotted into a trough on my terrace, and am looking for something interesting to get through spring/summer seasons. Tks

It would be a bit tight in that space as these plants do get quite large. One plant per pot would work.
