as long as you have rotors on the back you can put calipers on the back

I bought the same exact caliper but I can’t get mine to compress do I need to remove springs in middle of pads ??

Abit late but, I think what you should do is first drain the system of brake fluid. Then you can take off and replace the line. After that, refill the system with new brake fluid. Make sure to bleed the system out for air.
