Interesting to see the use of the insulation foamboard as a baseboard.

Needed it to be lightweight, as it will be put up against the wall in their bedroom when not in use.

Did you think of you needed to use insulated fishplates on the crossover?

Its not needed on these Hornby points, because they are insulfrog. Even if the boys upgrade to DCC (and the eldest already wants to!) that wont be a problem.
