Very good video series. Your workmanship is awesome. I just bought a used hot dog this week Monday. I have plenty upgrades in mind for it. I was thinking about adding a fridge as well and adding a separate freezer to the cart. And I want to take out the built in ice bin in the center of it. I want to add those big sinks as well. Because it came with a little tiny sink on the side of it. Thanks for clearing up the mystery of that copper pipe running over the top of the two burners, I didn't even know that it was to heat up the water.

You hot dog cart is awesome, from start to finish it’s got everything you need at a much smaller cost than if you where to buy a fantsy $90’000 financed one which would take a very long time to pay back, totally love this concept, thank you for sharing .

Hi There A steam table is just pans that you can buy One pan is larger that you put water in and the other pans a insert pans. So the way it works is that the water is heated and the food that you want to heat up is in the insert pans.

how much did the total cost run you on everything... and if you can maybe list all the wood to the fridge to the hot water heater and etc... just to get some kind of idea to compare

Also wanted to say thank you for the video. A lot easier then I thought. However you’re missing two parts off the top of my head. 1. Your umbrella you spoke about in video one you were going to add inside the cart, with conduit. 2. Your slide out table that covers the burners and adds 12” of extra tabletop to the cart. Also down here in the states you have to provide or it greatly helps to have the plans on paper to provide our health inspectors, did or do you have one? Also could you share your health inspection with your personal information blacked out, so we may see any and all comments, please? If so can you add a short video of those, along with the missing umbrella (connection) which you must have down here in the states, due to weather not being able to penetrate your food during rain storms etc. thank you again for the videos and I am eagerly awaiting your response(s) and if any plans you provided to your health inspector.

The umbrella just goes on the side of the cart and I changed my mind I never put the cover on that goes over the stove..

Hi ThereYes I used propane for BBQ and Steam Table. The inverter you just hook it up to a battery. I have a battery charger and solal cell on my battery.. I hope this helps..

I'm not that good at building stuff unfortunately, but how much did it cost you to build this? Also would you be okay with selling one of your hotdog carts? I was talking to the wife about starting our own food vendor business. She's okay with it but my son who is currently 8years old is excited to go to work with his dad. I just can't find a decent hot dog cart that's not to expensive

Sahl Strickland I just went to a Plummer one that does furnace installs and duct work and they made it for me.

will this pass health inspection being made of wood? most ive seen were made of all stainless steel

conceptthegreat yeah sure does pass the health inspector test with flying colors because the sinks are so big a lot of the hot dog carts the sinks are very small so you need a license authorized kitchen for cleanup with this cart is self-contained you can don't need it it'll clean up a cell

Should you not want to use wood. You can use 8020 extruded aluminum. I have built my cart with 8020 aluminum skeleton.
