PSA: One of the hotshot volley guns shares a gun arm with the recon guy. They almost did it. They almost made a kit where you can actually build whatever you want.

They're nice models, how do they compare in scale to say the Krieg Guardsman? Also, would it be a good idea to further make them "your dudes" by adding scale model kits add-ons?

I saw another video on KZbin the Kasrkin are almost a head taller than the older Cadian guardsmen figures. Supposedly the new Cadian figures are in this new scale as well which ticks me off.

They are taller and much chunkier. I like the scale for them and think they would look good as a different Regiment to fight alongside the Cadians or Krieg rather than amongst them in the same regiment.

I haven't played them yet, but saw them in action earlier this week at my club and the Sharpshooter was powerful when using the Elite points to get a hit to a critical to deal MW3 each time. They look interesting to play because of the Elite Points but the 7 wounds are putting me off. Would definitely be fun to play them against the Veteran Guardsmen, I'll have a go!

I think you made a mistake with your setup. At 2:49 you read the rule: just 4 gunner/sharpshooter! You have 5 (4 gunner + 1 sharpshooter) in your setup…

Not sure. It says "Your kill team can include no more than four Kasrkin Gunner and Kasrkin Sharpshooter operatives combined." Because they say "combined" I read that as you can only take 4 from the pool of 5 Gunners and 1 Sharpshooter. So 3 Gunners + 1 Sharpshooter or 4 Gunners.

You will have to lose at least 1 Gunner and maybe 2 Gunners. You can include them all in your roster, but in a Kill Team you can only take a combo of 4.

That’s right. So you have to build minimum 1 normal Trooper for your KillTeam, no matter what combo you use. Your maximum of „specialized“ Guardsmen is 8 out of the 9.

28mm but GW's 28mm can often be a bit bigger when compared with other 28mm models as they are more like 28mm 'hero' scale.

My LHS got 3 boxes of these I got 1 and the other 2 went to 1 bloke. Bit nuts. They rang the owner up and gave him less than half his order.

No, your team has to be only Kasrkin.

If you mean, could you use the Tempestus Scions as Kasarkin, then sure. Or even normal Militarum models. As long as they at least resemble the operative they represent. So if you had an Astra Militarum sargent with a chain sword and plasma pistol, that would be fine for a Kasarkin Sargent.

No problem to proxy other models for Kasrkin operatives, but you can't mix rules from different teams.
