HOW TO - Build a Kayak Fishing Livewell with Electronic Bilge

Grift Co's first video shows off a new livewell design! This video should ready you to build your own fishing livewell ready for all Kayak Tournaments.
The livewell utilises a 750GPH Bilge, 20mm Hose, Hose Fittings, 12v Battery and a 41L esky fitted onto a Hobie Pro Angler 12.
Our aim was to simplify the use of the livewell. This is inclusive of general use whilst fishing, installing onto the kayak, and packing it away. We end up using quick release hose fittings and pump terminals to allow for fast fitment but can also be pulled apart easily and stored inside the cooler when not in use.

I don’t see why not, as long as the footprint of the livewell finds a place on the kayak I think it’s good. You could obviously go smaller and move the switch to somewhere more convenient but for the most part it’s flexible.

What're the hose fittings? I've never seen those before...

Im not actually sure what they’re called. Quick release fittings like this are what most hoses are fitted with, and searching our local hardware store page doesn’t really provide any guidance other than “hose connector”. Sorry mate, not sure if that’s much help

brand is Gardena they have SOME on Amazon, but they are pricey and they don't seem to carry the 3/4" "hose repair connector"
