How To Build A Log Railing | Timelapse | DIY

Building a $6000 custom log hand railing!
We were commissioned by a valued client to take on the challenge of building this huge log/branches hand railing. I started by cutting down some proportionate sized trees, peeling them and letting them dry for over a year. In the meantime I gathered all sorts of branches to use for the spindles, and prepared those as well!
After a long wait for the material to dry, it was go time!
We purchased a 1” tenon cutter for the spindles and used a chainsaw and mini grinder with a 40 grit flap disk to build basically everything.
At the end of the project, the clients were more than happy with the results! Not to mention I had a blast doing this job!
