Loved this video! I was wondering what your thoughts are on how much you can mark up jewelry when you’re dropshipping from aliexpress? I know in other videos you’ve said try and find something more expensive and sell it 3x what it costs to sell it around the $50 mark. But I was wondering with jewelry specifically, since it seems to sell for cheaper in general on aliexpress like around $5 but also with taking into consideration that it has a higher perceived value, what would you try to go for for a mark up?
@theecomzone4 күн бұрын
Thank you. Appreciate the love! It depends on perceived value and the market. With jewellery you can get away with 5x mark ups and sometimes even more. It all depends on how professional your store looks. You can also try finding more expensive jewellery on AliExpress

@carymeskell4696Ай бұрын
@@theecomzoneFair enough. I just remember from your videos you said you have a single storefront with over 2000 products, each with a minimum price of $50 and I’m having trouble picturing a store like that. With such a high starting price and breadth of products, it would seem hard to pull off.

So had this thought, since other people will naturally sell the same items as you, what is it that differentiates you from the rest? Is it the website and the budget you spend on Ads? Is that the only thing? Have you never had problems with customer rates dropping because new competitors arise?

I've had people copy my brand completely. It's annoying as hell. Better experience, better branding, better offering, bigger selection of products, etc.

@theecomzoneАй бұрын
@@Zoe-dz1dl I use Shopify to build my store but DSers as the integration between AliExpress and Shopify so it can automate the process when ordering. I think it's best you watch my playlist with all my videos in order so you don't feel so overwhelmed and confused with all the misinformation out there. You'll have a better understanding on how to build a sustainable branded dropshipping store.

Hey bro, I asked a question on another one of your videos but I think it’s more appropriate to ask here: what is your expert thought on starting a luxury clothing brand which sells religious clothing? For example, hijabs (head covers) for Muslim women? Thank you.

Thanks for the video that was very helpful! 🔥One question: If I have a UK LTD and want to dropship from Aliexpress to the EU i.e. Spain, do I need to register to the IOSS scheme or how does it work? I can't seem to find reliable answers online. Thanks!
@theecomzone2 ай бұрын
It's a messy regulation that is poorly executed. Yes you should register for IOSS but the way it works is stupid. I rather not talk about it as you should really speak to an accountant about this.

Lon, why do you ammend the product names and select the pictures in DSers and not do it on the product page of shopify? Is there some special reason or is it personal preference as i done it all through Shopify and wondering if i have missed anything?
@theecomzone2 ай бұрын
If you change it on Shopify, you'll then have to change your URL on the product page. It doesn't automatically update. Also images aren't always selected when importing.

Hi bro, I have just started fb ads yesterday and in my country (i.e. India) it only gave me a starting daily spending limit of INR 450 (USD 5 approx) but I'm targeting the US market. Can you suggest me how can I get facebook to increase my daily spending limit...really feeling lost at the moment .

Hey love your videos do you happen to have a video or information on how to change prices or products based on the market. What i mean is say Product A is 10$ USD and ships to US for free and Product A is 20$ CAD and ships to Canada for free and my entire store is based on the US pricing would you make less money if you charged say 20$ USD for Product A for a 10$ profit but 20$ USD is only 27$ CAD and if someone from Canada bought it I would only be making 7$ profit. Does this question make sense? Thanks again!
@theecomzoneАй бұрын
Glad you find them informative. If Canada is too expensive then I usually put a shipping fee but this also depends on which country gets the majority of your sales. If Canada gets the majority of sales then I'll put free shipping but mark the price up according to Canada's price.

Thank you for sharing this knowledge with beginners like me. But may I ask you a question: In the jewelry niche, is it saturated and difficult for newcomers to succeed?
@theecomzone2 ай бұрын
Everything is saturated if you really think about it. It all depends on how often products come out for the niche. If suppliers are constantly creating new products for lets say Jewelry then you just need to be first in the market to sell that product.

Hello! I’m planning my shop and have everything prepared so far, but I need custom packaging for my products. How can I find such packaging on AliExpress? Should I reach out to the sellers directly, or is there another way to request it?
@theecomzoneАй бұрын
You shouldn't source custom packaging from the beginning. You want to start getting sales and validate your niche and products. Then reach out to suppliers about custom packaging.
@Adam-t7k5iАй бұрын
Thank you for your response! I just wanted to ensure that there’s no wording that might lead customers to believe their package is coming directly from AliExpress or that the product is dropshipped.
