To prevent it jumping out of the trap stand in front of the trap so you’re facing the opposite way the mana went into the trap (for those who haven’t tamed one yet)

For those who are trying to place the top part and can't make it in 2021, use ONLY vanilla pieces, it does not work with modded (S-items). You still do not need other foundation, it works as presented in this video.

You can quite easily modify it to work with s blocks. But its a bit more costly in terms of resources.

Great trap, doesn't take 20 minutes to build, it's really cheap too. Do not use s+ stone railings as they will snap to the hatchframes instead of half under it, which doesn't work. Thanks for the trap this is amazing

Tested this xmas eve, still works a treat but since the patch it's a bit more dangerous to do. They can now either kill you off the back of your mount or freeze your mount out from under you.

I just use the horses. They work very well for me. I knock out everything. If it dies, it was not worthy. If it goes unconscious and a good level, then it's a keeper. °n°
