That's an awesome build. Very sleek looking design. Several great tips, taping up the cuts to prevent chip-out, $10 dowel jig, sanding the topcoat with a paper bag, and many more. Also, quite a decent array of woodworking tools, sir!

I clicked on this video to get some ideas for making a credenza but what excited me most, was seeing those mobile work benches, additional tools that I now want and how you've organized your garage. Shows how helpful it is to work with the right setup.

Nice, thanks! Those modular tables are a variation of the ones Bob Clagett made on his channel. He'll show you how to make them. (Skip the magnets). kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpTVhX6jhJunqqM&ab_channel=ILikeToMakeStuff

Good job catching that hot iron by the handle...loved that you had a replay for that. Great console too...I might use some of your ideas when making one for my record player and vinyl.

Great first video! I have never built any Furnature but from your video I seem to have all the needed tools and a good idea that it can be done in a weekend. I’m surprised at how well done your video shots are! You seemed to only show the parts people would need to see! One small piece of advice, buy a mic! I just got a Deity for my R6 and it made a huge difference!

@LeDiva1273 жыл бұрын
This looks great! I don’t have a woodworking area at home. I’d love to know the dimensions to have the pieces cut at a hardware store...pricing for prebuilt is a lot for lesser quality.
@homebuilt95793 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks! I built this piece for a client so don't have exact dimensions for all of the pieces offhand, but the total dimensions of the whole carcass without doors and feet are 78 3/4" w, 26 1/2" h, and 17 3/4" d. All of the wood used is 3/4" thick, and the feet are 2" dowels cut to 3 1/2". Hope that helps!

That's the Kreg Accu-Cut. Just attach the base to your circular saw and run it along the track. Cheers! www.kregtool.com/shop/cutting/circular-saw-cutting/accu-cut/KMA2700.html

Here they are! There are these right angle squares that you can clamp down: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085RX7YF8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And then I also use this "Can-Do" corner clamp, which is extremely helpful: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LJNJNU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pro tip: buy pre finished plywood. Also wood guy and metal don't mix just buy a small 2 part epoxy tube for things like those inserts.

I find when I use that type of maple plywood it warps, do you find that also?
@homebuilt95794 жыл бұрын
I haven't encountered any problems with warping. Maple plywood has been very kind to me. I think most warping issues are due to humidity conditions, but don't want to try to guess about your situation!

I came here to find out what's the material used for the back of the credenza called, of course he didn't say it... gods, if google was less busy trying to sell me credenza, I could google it, but answer to that simple question makes no one no money, so it's probably on page 128 in google results

Backing material is just 1/4" plywood. I just tried to find a sheet that matched the color of the wood I used.
