Anyone who isn't using a medieval texture pack knows that the brick stands out a little bit too much. I recommend switching the brick with Spruce Wood.

thanks for the suggestion, i swapped the brick with spruce and i also swapped the oak logs with dark oak logs. looked nicer to me for some reason

I tried doing the math and I came up with this can someone check this? I rounded the numbers for some. 8 Stacks of Oak Wood 6 Stacks of Cobblestone 11 Stacks of Brick 18 Glass 48 Cocoa Beans I just want to know if that is right. I'm not trying to deter people just trying to find what base materials I need are.

Jeracraft, just so you know, to make it more feasible to store potion ingredients near the brewing stand, I added a basement with an easy-access Nether portal. Of course a public-access Nether Portal is built nearby, but the basement one is just personal use for the mage. Gotta have a place to get nether wart for the potions, after all!

So I built this on a server with one of my mates from work and with the cobblestone we swapped it with some moss stone every now and then and it really makes it suit and swapped wood with darkoak for the pillars :)

p.s. used quartz full blocks and steps for sheet. Wood step at end of brace and carried fencing down fabric, though not putting on quartz step.

This has already been said but just in case anyone hasn't seen it, if you're running a texture pack that doesn't suit bricks at all, use spruce wood instead, looks much nicer

whelpjust built this in survival, al that balancing to get the roof done and the heart attacks i had doing the roof haha, well then i used netherbricks and spruce instead of oak and ordinary bricks but thanks for the tutorial several years late :)

If you're using a texture pack, and you don't like the brick, I switched it to cobble stone bricks.

Quick question here: I've noticed that the carpets in my minecraft buildings do not match the ones you see in Jeracrafts buildings. I find that realy weird because I use the same resource pack. I've ruled out the possibility that it has to do with a different version when I downloaded the latest version of Conquest, so what could cause this?

DEFAULT TEXTURE PACK USERS! I know it's a little late (two years late ahem) but I def recommend replacing oak with stone bricks and bricks with spruce wood planks.
