what drill was that to make the slanted holes for the end im trying to use a screw but it wont work

Are you talking about the pocket hole drill? That's a special drill that comes with the pocket hole kit. It's a 3/8 but it has a smaller size on the tip which is like 1/8 of an inch. It's called a step drill. I hope this answers your question . Thanks for watching
