As always, you build great looking items. Thank you for showing the mistakes; we all make them. But you also showed exactly how you fixed the mistakes as opposed to just mentioning that you fixed them. Also, thank you for the pattern plywood technique. I've seen plenty of woodworking videos now and none have shown the patterned plywood. It looks great. Also, one of the many reasons I love you is that you are humble enough to give credit to other fellow woodworkers. You even go as far as linking their technique videos whereas other KZbinrs just mention a woodworker's name and leave it up to us to go fishing for the woodworker and then search through all their videos just to find the technique that was just discussed. So, thank you for that. You are so cool. I totally relate with the happy dances when you finally make an issue work.
@diyhuntress4 жыл бұрын
You’re awesome! I love showing the mistakes because they do happen and I want to make them so anyone who builds my projects doesn’t make the same ones I did. 🙈 Gotta spread the love! I’m inspired by so many makers in this amazing community. 💕 Also... happy dances, for the win!

Nice work. I still remember when I once screwed up on a drawer width. It was tiny enough that I could sand enough to fix that problem to get the drawer slide to cooperate -- but oh I was not happy with myself. Keep showing your mistakes because it makes us all feel better to know that a professional like yourself can make them too. It makes me relax more in woodworking knowing I'm not the only one who makes mistakes.
@diyhuntress4 жыл бұрын
Mistakes are so frustrating, but they’re part of the process! I like to make them first in case anyone wants to try the build later. 😊

Ah! Depends on the project, but I do most of my work on the weekends because I have a full time job, so some take a weekend and some take four (🙈). Editing takes me a few afternoons to complete - I usually do that in the afternoons after my full time job. Usually by the time you guys see my video, the project has been complete for a week or two before I am able to finalize editing/writing my posts and sharing!
