After last weeks shower spigot built it was time for my Outdoor shower! I've been waiting so long for this, and I'm happy with how it turned out! I've been using the shower daily since I build it. Such an asset to have 😊

Nice project, like they way it looks! I used paver pads when I did my gazebo. Each pad eliminated 5 bags of sand each. Both big stores carry them, but for whatever reason they are different sizes made by the same company. For the next bigger project you do!

Its always so misleading to look at this big heavy bags. It always makes me think, one bag must be enough for a whole project and then you empty one and it looks like nothing 🤣

Clever design, and one of the nicest outdoor showers I have ever seen. Smart to use patio stones...nothing worse than standing in mud or on sharp gravel! It's amazing the breadth of knowledge you have. You seemed to have found a real passion!

It’s always been my hobby since childhood. I always love to built things and I was always better with my hands. I worked hard in my career to be able to afford the farm and now I soak it all in and enjoy every moment of it

Your shower came out great. You can make a solution of vinegar and steel wool or other metal filings that when brushed on pressure treated wood will age it to a gray color within hours. Works great for adding to a board fence.

Nice -- I liek the design of the water drainage system, clever. I like the look of the wood on the shower stand too Any thought to drainage stand/walking board (duck bills boards) outside of the shower so after your done you're not waling in the sand/dirt?

Hey Rob, thanks a lot. Its very refreshing since the temperatures have been ridiculous hot. I'm wearing sunblock 100 and still get sunburned super quick. The shower is so refreshing. I was looking for river rocks but they were much more expensive. I wanted to build it on a Budget. Those stones were the cheapest in white color.

I get my water from a well, I installed a second water pipe to tap into it. If you like you can seal the wood first but that usually ends up getting a bunch of grass stuff to the wet stain since I have so much grass and sand here. So I rather built first, so it’s off the ground. I sand as much as the instructions on the stain say. I think this one was 120

That doesn't look like pressure treated lumber......it's not going to do very well outside, especially with ground contact. Sealing only does so much.

Like mentioned in the video. The whole built is built with pressure treated lumber. on top of that I added the stain/sealer.
