Hardware can definitely get expensive. Most KZbinrs never point that out. We've been fortunate to find bulk hardware on clearance at a couple hardware stores. It has saved us some big money.

I use pennies quite a bit LOL even used them as washers for my truck's carburetor. I was careful to use copper pennies for that one though.

We have two different breeds of bantam chickens, as well as a flock of quail. Wouldn't mind some pheasants though!
