I think this is more of a recipe to learn deck building than building a "perfect deck".

Great video. You and Dale have gotten me into my very first deck builder, even though it looked intimidating to me. Most of my gaming to this point has been sports board game simulation. My wife and son bought me the cord set and I am just taking it a hero at a time with pre-construct decks, taking on Rhino, getting a feel for the game and having a blast. Thank you both for showing this.

So the timing on these videos is out of this world because I recently got a great deal on the whole marvel champs lot. Been wanting to play for the longest time. Thank you Jesse and Dale!

Thanks for the great tips on deckbuilding. Love watching Dale's videos. He basically taught me how to play.

Jesse, thanks for including Dale on all things MC related. He offers a great perspective on the game. This provides a nice intro to MC deckbuilding. Anyone who watches Dale play could probably anticipate Justice and the particular cards discussed. The only notable absence is Nick Fury (have you ever not used him to draw three cards 😉?). Thanks again for a great video.

There is also a great list on BGG of pre-built decks for each hero and pre-built plug-n-play aspects and a few others. Great for those who don't want to build decks. We play the starter decks to preview on the channel, or are a glutton for punishment lol

Hey, I just got into the game and plan on playing it with "pre-built" decks, do you have a link to these?

Great tips i enjoy seeing the ducks being pulled in….upgrade everything also I add Nick Fury into any deck hes just really useful cause I can bring him in do free damage then he can thwart or attack and chump block before he goes away!

This is a really great starting point for deckbuilding, but I also love that MC HIGHLY rewards replayability and tinkering with your deck. There is SO MUCH to explore in this game and I love it

I love Magic the Gathering, and I can throw together some pretty good deck. However, when it comes to Marvel Champions, I struggle at making good decks. This videos looks very useful to me, thanks!!!’

Great video. I notice the term “pre-con” is used often but not often explained. Took me hearing it a few times to look it up and learn that it means the pre constructed deck the hero came with.

Jesse!! Big fan! Would LOVE to see a video on your game table. As a newcomer into the hobby, I’m trying to find options on what kind to buy, ones that are budget friendly, or DIY

Funny, I always push for a 50 card deck because cycling through your deck means an extra encounter card, plus 10 extra cards can lead to some better choices. But I also get the idea of keeping it tight to get the cards you want.

Subbed because dale is the s$#@ and I enjoyed watching you two discuss MC. Thanks for this video guys.

When a marvel champion game is purchased with enough cards and other stuff to get started, does that mean when you purchase extra separate decks you choose some out of new deck and add to cards that came with game along with maybe taking some of the cards out of the cards that came with game? I understand in a way but it seems hard to spend more money to get dupes and a few different cards. I'll give it a try. Sounds fun but expensive

getting 6 allies for the aspect is probably not possible in the core set. Much less cost 2 or 3
@JM-db8ez2 жыл бұрын
Sure it's possible, there are neutral allies as well. But yeah, having more hero and scenario expansions help with the overall card pool for sure.

This is why i stoped playing marvel champions. I hated how limited the deck building is. 80% of the deck is mostly auto takes beyond the choice of pick an aspect
@brandtsanderson46652 жыл бұрын
Nah. This is just a quick guide to how to get starts building a deck.
@tadaka23942 жыл бұрын
@@brandtsanderson4665 but fact is most decks are goin to use the exact same cards he mentioned. Look at your own decks. I bet most of them run most of what he said. Most aspects have clear best cards. I dont think deck building in this is very deap or rewarding at all.
@brandtsanderson46652 жыл бұрын
@@tadaka2394 strongly disagree. If your only goal is to win and win big then, sure, you will just play Dr Strange leadership every time. It’s the single best deck. But if you want to have variety there are four aspects each with two or three archetypes. That’s a lot of options to go with 30 different heroes. There certainly are deeper games for deckbuilding but there is also plenty here to bring me back to the table (over 3000 times!$
@sen73nced2 жыл бұрын
Nah, I Disagree, there's plenty of room for being creative, (I love the quicksilver leadership with no allies). I even had to sleeve some of the copies of "bad cards". I think that Dale creates very basic decks though.
@Mr_J19842 жыл бұрын
@@tadaka2394 Yeah everyone knows Dr. Strange Leadership will wreck every villain, but for me the fun comes in the challenge of restricting myself and seeing if I can win with a certain "theme" or aspect I don't normally use. I've found Justice is my crutch, so my next challenge is to think outside that box. Every hero can be at least decent. Except Hulk. He just flat out sucks lol
@yipyipyipi2 жыл бұрын
Not exactly the "perfect" deck. I would say if you want to change this guide to make a perfect deck, you really only need to change one bullet point... When you pick your hero, pick Doctor Strange.
