Recommend keeping important documents such as lease , wills passports medical etc in a binder. Things you may not necessarily want to hoard in a survival kit but will need to grab on the way out the door. This way you have to grab ONE item that has all your important stuff.

I've got a first aid kit, a box of granola bars, a sewing kit, cotton cloth patches, and 100 foot bundles of thread, twine, and 550 cord all put into a backpack. And a solar phone charger with flashlight battery. I must admit though, it's more for camping than survival, but it works.

Some things that should definitely be added into that kit should be an e-tool, paracord, fishing hooks, a Swiss army knife, and a basic sewing kit. These items will give survivability beyond the three days suggested in this video. More importantly the e-tool and paracord can help with building/making shelter in combination with the blanket we also packed.

A large sawback knife is a great thing to have. Put it on the side of the backpack or on your belt. You can use it to defend yourself and cut things a lot more efficiently than with a pocket knife.

Yeah, knife and a small axe, a lifestraw rather then tablets, also an igloo tent, small gas stove, several lighters and synthetic flint, alcohol based hand sanitizer witch can also be used to start fires, small fishing gear, extra clothes, especially socks and underwear kept in a sealed plastic bag, and ofcorse soap. A sleeping bag is nice too.

Items for fire and defense. There are many Paracord knives that have Flint and steel. Paracord has many uses and is very light weight. With a little Paracord and an emergency blanket, you suddenly have a 2 person tent.

I made the mistake of putting canned goods in my bug out bag. you want things like beef jerky, pouches of tuna, anything non perishable and lightweight. And if you can afford it your bag should be compatible with a water bladder.

you forgot a sturdy knife, some type of cordage (at least 100 feet of cordage, paracord works great), a compass to aid in navigation (lensatic or "military" style works best), some kind of small sowing kit (can be used for repairing clothes or suturing wounds) and some kind of sanitizing aid (rubbing alcohol is great for sterilizing utensils and cleaning wounds) also some type of bar soap (you want bar soap because liquid soap is likely to leak and ruin other items in your pack, plus it weighs less).

Add a glocka and a flare gun, 2 full jerry cans in your land rover, winch, lots of rope, maybe a crate full of tins in the boot and keep your pack light, only 2 bottle of water, meds,tins,fishing gear, maps, lighter, knife.
