Our neighbors used to build a temporary greenhouse every spring for their tomato plants and then tear it down after planting. This one can be taken down and used over again without having to buy new framing material. I would have to put anchors down as we have strong to severe wind storms every spring. this is a good design for back yard gardening.

@cpeterson8774 жыл бұрын
If you use regular heavy duty plastic sheet it will last one year, disintegrating into small hard to pick up pieces. I vesting in UV stabilized Greenhouse rated sheeting will give you a minimum of 4 years and its failure mode is virtually mess free.

Need a bit of advice from you. I'm from a tropical country and we have the monsoons here. Also we have pests and a 12 hour a day Sun. How do you think I should make mine? I just need to protect my plants from these bugs and too much rain. What would you do with a solution like this? Maybe should I just lay polythene on top but fix net at the bottom so that air could come in? Will that work?
@NMW804 жыл бұрын
I would use shade clothe material not plastic but that’s just me. If too hot for plastic where you are and it will keep most pests out. Like some kind of mesh clothe they use for green houses. I am not sure the exact name of it though.

My experience is that even the UV plastic for greenhouses will crumble within 6 months. Living in the south, in one full year I have had to recover the PVC three times now. The first time I put duck tape on the pokes, this time I have painted them, wish me luck. Oh I wish the people showing these types of construction would tell you the truth about how long the plastic holds.

I can’t believe you’re forcing those little girls to do such hard work for you. There’s a good reason why we have child labor laws in this country, and you really need to start following them. Her poor little back is gonna be so tore up from pushing those heavy wheelbarrows that she’ll be on disability by the time she’s 18. There’s no doubt about that, really. This is an outrage! I’m gonna do everything in my power to see to it that something is done about this child abuse, because I love children and I hate to see any precious child have to suffer like this. I’m not gonna rest until you are in prison where you belong, and I’m obviously not serious at all, because that would be ridiculous if I was really so crazy that I actually believed any of that nonsense, but hopefully someone will read it and fall for it, but if no one does then that just means it was a waste of my time, and that makes me even angrier than I am about these little girls having to suffer like this. I’m super fired up now for real and I’m not gonna put up with it anymore. I mean it. I refuse to say anything else after this sentence and then another short, 4 word sentence after it, because I’ll be boycotting this comment section from that point on, because something needs to be done about thit’s a travesty and it’s unacceptable and I hope you like bars, because you’re gonna be behind them for the rest of your life after I report this, and all the other prisoners will know that you’re in there for abusing little girls, and then you’ll finally get exactly what you deserve for ruining these girls’ entire lives like you have. This is an outrage!
