This time I made a Tamiya Ford GT plastic model.
I used
Mr. Surfacer #1000 & #1200
Mr. Superclear gloss
Zero Paint - Ford GT Liquid Blue
IPP - Gun Metal, Super Fine Stainless, Super Fine Aluminium,
Super Black gloss, Super Black flat
SMP - Clear Red
Tamiya - X-7, X-11, TS-8, TS-73

Dude, you need to spray the zero paints in 3-4 light coats otherwise you risk it etching into the plastic and crazing the paint.

PLAgraphy anytime. Some colours are hotter than others. Avoid spraying it wet and you should have no problems. Keep up the great work!

What kind of glue do I need to use to be able to glue those pieces after the have been painted? The stuff I'm using just melts the paint away and won't hold. Thanks!

Hi, I have a question. I made 2 models and then realised I needed a clear coat. I now use a can of Mr topcoat gloss. After that I made 2 more models which turned out nicer however when watching videos I always see people polishing their clear coats. I am not sure wether I need the tamiya compound set and I am not sure if I can sand Mr topcoat safely as it is a 1k clear I think. How would you recommend I go about polishing my clear coat? And is it worth investing in the tamiya compounds and even a can of super clear gloss like you use?

After spraying the clear coat thickly, grind it with #3000 sandpaper and polish it with #5000 sandpaper. At this time, make sure to moisten the sandpaper with water and polish it gently to prevent damage to the clearcoat and painted surface. Among the three types of Tamiya compound, except for the finish product, it can be replaced with soft sandpaper, so I think you can use it for the last finish with a tamiya compound finish. The top coat is water-soluble, so I recommended to use Super Clear because it may dissolve if water gets on it when sanding.
