well after 8 months i finally got around to making these molds, they came out great so thank you for helping with the process, next step ill vacuum infuse the shells since i think this will give the best result, thanks again

when you made the flange supports for under the rudder, how did you transfer the curve of the rudder onto the wood?

I used a spiling block to make the first one and the curve is almost the same from then on. The rest can be tweaked per support

@@d7marinegrprepairsexplaine802 - thanks for this - I remember Louis Sauzedde did a paper sticker method for spilling a plank, i might give that a go, thank again - im going to use your video as a guide to make a rudder this weekend.

1 last question, what did you use to glue the balsa to the mold?

I used a polyester bonding paste but you can use polyester resin with silica to thicken it up or someother type of filler. Just don't use any thing that goes off to quickly as it may exotherm and print though on the inside of your mould
