The reality is a never coder, yes I can now create apps but it’s you guys who have coded who can 100x your productivity as the background in coding really helps you get exactly what you need without in a few goes as you have a deeper programming understanding of concepts and best practice. Expert or beginners we can all benefit from this tech and I’m here for it kids.

Did anyone else catch how seamlessly Windsurf AI integrates with Mixpanel? I’m thinking of launching a similar project - anyone have tips on how to monetize these tools?
@noduslabs
@noduslabs 2 ай бұрын
Well I have to say it wasn't 100% seamless, but if you provide a documentation link to the editor, it'll be much faster! As for monetizing, you just need to promote it first to get some audience, ask them what they need, and they'll tell you how to make it better!

Merely put forward some suggestions and include them in the latest video, which may be unrelated to the latest video. # Issues - The context text is too long and not good for analysis. - The page displays one image, making it difficult to start. One must begin with the summary feature, identify doubts, and then ask AI. Rely on AI's logic. - If the context text contains prerequisite conditions, it is impossible to understand the meaning of the text from this source, and further analysis of the problem is needed by asking AI. - It is easy to lose context during the analysis process. For example, starting from a certain node for analysis, after a series of analyses, one forgets and cannot find from which node it started. - The "reveal underlying idea" feature is used to explore fundamental knowledge, but the page does not clearly indicate the purpose of this feature. There is no good way to return to the previous exploration position, making it easy to lose context. - The "Summarize Filtered" feature broadly summarizes the selected context, and the accuracy needs to be judged independently. - The exploration method of summarizing after clicking on nodes in the image is prone to omitting some content and is not comprehensive enough. - The provided Advice is based on graph structure algorithm analysis and not on the reader's current level of understanding, so its practicality is not very strong. - There is no way to distinguish between the sources of each import, making it easy to confuse with existing content. Or, the tag feature is not strong enough. There is no way to undo importing new data sources or to restart. - There is no clear purpose for "add to graph," for example, should the content summarized by AI also be placed in the graph?
@noduslabs
@noduslabs 2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. Some of the issues like the ability to undo the last import are already in the works, while some others, like the ability to select a part of the graph and only summarize that part is a feature not a bug. Also for the reveal underlying function - you do have an undo button there… But always good to hear such extensive reports on the UX.

Definitely Windsurf. This thing is so next level. I just used it to build and optimize high performance data structures that were previously only made by expert engineers with decades of experience and Windsurf nailed it. Granted you have to know lockfree algorithms and memory alignment, but man Windsurf is just so next level that I am increasingly worried about the implications to employment.

@@marvin_hansen how does it compare to Cursor in your opinion?
@marvin_hansen
@marvin_hansen 2 ай бұрын
@ Good question. IMHO Cursor really is the pioneer at the forefront but as OSS project lacks a bit the refined workflow professional engineers seeks and that is where Windsurf Ai stands out. The industry needs both, but for my work I chose Windsurf any given day.
